It’s no secret that the UFC is about to make its debut in Australia,
and they certainly brought a star studded line up with them. Along
with top international fighters, they have selected a number of local
talent. Main event features unbeaten Cain Velasquez taking on his
toughest test to date in Minotauro Nogueira. A win for Cain will certainly
head him in the right direction for a shot at the UFC heavyweight
title. In the co-main event, the always exciting Wanderlei Silva will
take on Michael Bisping in what should be one hell of a war. One of
the most exciting fights on the card will see BJJ Black Belt George
Sotiropoulos, who’s riding a 4-0 record in the UFC go head to head
with powerhouse Joe “Daddy” Stevenson. A rematch of local talent will
see Elvis Sinosic go toe to toe with Chris Haseman. Both men have
appeared in the UFC on prior occasions... this should be one to look
forward to.
